I miss in the old edition of the game when you were given a quest it was handed to you, scrawled on a piece of scrap paper as to accept or decline the quest. It must’ve changed in the definitive edition because it just becomes a default yes or no to start the quest.

In the Definitive Edition of Dead Island: Riptide is it possible to press a button (default Q on keyboard) to melee with the weapon. This is useful to give yourself a few seconds to reload or adjust your aim if a zombie is close. This does not exist in the Definitive Edition of Dead Island, only Riptide.
