I've been playing Guild Wars 2 for several months now and recently got my skyscale and I'm now working on the turtle actually a tortoise collection (I got reaaaaaally lucky on my fifth try of the meta, had an amazing comm who was really good at explaining mechanics and calling out attacks, etc., bless their soul). But people do it for the daily/weekly rewards and there are still training groups for the strikes available so it shouldnt be hard to find a group, unless you and all of your teammates severly underperform. 36. Me having a full time job was able to get the turtle mount within the first few days after the expansion release. Including finishing the story. The only thing people have a hard time on are the meta and the strike. Just wait in the map and a tag will group everyone one up for the meta.
The turtle mount is the most fun I have had in gw2 in a long time. My friends and I have been helping one of our friends get thru the game for the first time and its really funny how weak everything is that even the turtles subpar damage still can destroy most of the POF & s4 story lol, and most of the open world aswell.
