Hi . I’d like to travel from Salzburg to Cesky Krumlov in late October.. Unfortunately CK shuttles and bean shuttles want 200 euros for the journey for two as they insist on only offering a private car for us rather than a shared shuttle with others.
Start in Cesky Krumlov. Drive for about 54 minutes, then stop in Trebon and stay for about 1 hour. Next, drive for another 41 minutes then stop in Heidenreichstein and stay for 1 hour. Drive for 32 minutes then stop in Zwettl and stay for 1 hour. Drive for 40 minutes then stop in Langenlois and stay for 1 hour.
Cesky Krumlov is a must see destination, but is 4-5 hours enough when on a day trip from Prague on a tour group? We are thinking about renting a taxi and extending our time to 8 hours on-sight and hiring a local guide, would it be worth the extra money for more time or is 5 hours enough in Cesky Krumlov enough?
